These were designed for children wishing to keep a pet insect. Children usually get a Stick insect or Spiny leaf insect and they like some height. These are made to accommodate this and are taller than our bug catchers. Basically these animals need height (x 3 times their length to moult / shed their skin). They will hang from the top of the enclosure.

These PET home is approx. 24 cm wide x 24 cm long and 40+ cm high. They are a bug homes ie. for a pet bug like a spiny leaf insect or other small animal rather than a portable bug catcher. (we offer smaller , lighter ones for this: small and medium). We have had great reviews of these. Many of the children who get a portable bug catcher have asked for this for pets!
A wonderful way to help children appreciate living things. . You have a choice of finish beeswax, Linseed (inside of bug home) and Eco Organoil on outer door- 100% natural oils of: Eucalyptus, Tung nut oil, Pine resin oils & citrus.
